History of the Prophet with Aisyah marriage. When Aisyah was 6 years old and live at home when Aisyah was 9 years old, is a very famous history of both among Muslims themselves, especially among Christians.
Christians, let alone the orientalist and Christian scholars have always made history Prophet marriage with Aisyah as a weapon to marginalize and harass the Prophet Muhammad. Any books written by Orientalists, or biblical scholars certainly do not miss the history of the Prophet with Aisyah marriage has always been a mainstay for the Muslims brainwash the laymen, that they doubt the prophethood of Muhammad.

History of the Prophet with Aisyah marriage was purposefully developed, and nurtured by the Orientalists and other enemies of Islam, so Muslims consciously or unconsciously, intentionally or unintentionally believe one hundred percent with this story.

623-624 ** M / 2 H - Holy Prophet married / living with Aisyah
632 M / 10 H - Prophet died.
672 M / 50 H - Aisyah died.

Historically, Aisyah born in 614M, 6-year-old (620M) when the groom Prophet, and the age of 9 years (623-624CE) while living with the Prophet, when the 18-year-old Aisyah (632M / 10H) Prophet Muhammad died, and Aisyah, died when 58 year old (672M / 50H).

It is based on the statement of Ibn Sa'd in "Tabaqat", that free Aisyah was born in the fourth year all Rasulan (614M). This coincides with two hadiths in Al-Bukhari:

5:43. 234. Narrated Aisyah: The Prophet engaged me when I was a girl of six (years). We went to Medina and stayed at the home of Bani-al-Harith bin Khazraj. Then I got ill and my hair fell out. Later on my hair grew (again) and my mother, Um Ruman, came to me while I was playing in a swing with some of my girl friends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do to me. She caught me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house. I was breathless then, and when my breathing normal Became, she took some water and rubbed my face and head with it. Then she took me into the house. There in the house I saw some Ansari women who said, "Best wishes and Allah Blessing and a good luck." Then she entrusted me to them and they prepared me (for the marriage). Unexpectedly Allah's Messenger came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age.
5:43. 236. Narrated Hisham's father: Khadija winner! Three years before the Prophet departed to Medina. He stayed there for two years or so and then he married Aisyah when she was a girl of six years of age, and he consummated that marriage when she was nine years old.
However, these historical facts after thorough study, it was found there were some percanggahan-argument based on the following argument.


Hadiths in al-Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, an-Nisa'I and Ibn Majah narrated that the Prophet married Aisyah when she was 6 years old and lived with the Prophet when he was 9 years old.

However, all of these traditions using history in this matter than Hisham, Hisham is the grandson of Asma (sister Aisyah). Hisham lot of feedback or information rather than his father, Urwa.

Most scholars such Ajurri, Uqayli, Abu al-Aswad and Imam Malik said that all of history than Hisham than his father should not be associated with Aisyah believed, his deep history all came from Iraq (as we have seen in Iraq many Syiah clerics gather ).

Yaqub ibn Abi Shaybah, Ibn Kharash and Imam Malik, Ajurri, Uqayli and Abu al-Aswad, all agreed that Hisham history of Iraq should not be believed, because the history is never known by scholars of Medina.

Imam Malik and Imam al-Shafie said: 'Every history which no source is derived from the Hijaz (Iraq) should not be trusted'.

Tehzibu'l-Tehzib, one of the well-known book containing the records of the hadith narrators, according to Yaqub ibn Shaibah noted: "Hisham really be believed, history is acceptable, except what he was told after the move to Iraq" (Tehzi ' bu'l-tehzi'b, Ibn Hajar Al-`asqala'ni, Dar Ihya al-turath al-Islami, 15th century. Vol 11, p.50).
For the record, Hisham lived in Medina and moved to Iraq when he was 71 years old.

In a subsequent statement that Malik ibn Anas refused Hisham recorded history of the people of Iraq: "I was once told that free Hisham Malik rejected the recorded history of the people of Iraq" Tehzi'b u'l-tehzi'b, IbnHajar Al-` asqala'ni, Dar Ihya al-turath al-Islami, vol.11, p. 50).

Mizanu'l-ai `tidal, another book that contains a description of the history of life on the narrators of hadith the Prophet recorded:" When old age, memory Hisham greatly deteriorated "(Mizanu'l-ai` tidal, Al-Zahbi, Al-Maktabatu ' l-athriyyah, Sheikhupura, Pakistan, Vol. 4, p. 301)

So, because of all the hadith related by marriage to the Prophet Aisyah from Iraq was not known to the scholars of Medina, the history should not be believed even though tradition meets the requirements in the hadith records.

Scholars of hadith to be very careful with the hadith that comes from Iraq, because many hadith were diverted, and made false hadith Shiite cleric. Shiite cleric Aisyah so hated and possibly they merobah hadith or they make fake hadith relating to the age of Aisyah when she married the Prophet for embarrassing him.

The only history is a history not of Iraq Muhammad ibn Shihab al-Zuhri with the same observations, also with a sanad from the father Hisham, Urwah. However not clear whether al-Zuhri hear one of Urwah. Ibn Hajar in his explanation he describes the history of al-Bukhari, the following;

Ibn Hajar said: "There is no evidence that Muhammad ibn Urwah Shihab own encounter directly, but proved that he was informed by other sources, more than Urwah."
CONCLUSION: All the traditions associated with Aisyah marriage only come from one source, namely Hisham ibn Urwah sake only in Iraq, and was never known by scholars of Medina. Most scholars reject hadith from Hisham history of Iraq.


According to Tabari (also according to Hisham ibn `Urwah, Ibn Hunbal and Ibn Sad), Aisyah groom at age 7 and began to settle down (stayed with the Prophet) at the age of 9 years.
But, on the other, Al-Tabari says: "All the children of Abu Bakr there were 4 people in the ignorance born of two wives." (Tarikhu'l-umam wa'l-mamlu'k, Al-Tabari (winner! 922), Vol. 4, p. 50, Arabic, Dara'l-fikr, Beirut, 1979).

If Aisyah groom at 620M (Aisyah age 7 years) and married (living with the Prophet) in 623/624M (age 9), this means that Aisyah was born on 613M (after the age of ignorance). Al-Tabari conflict in history which he wrote himself, that Aisyah should have been born when the times of ignorance, namely before the 610M.

If we keep mengunapakai revelation that free Al-Tabari Aisyah was born in the time of ignorance before the 610M, it means living with Aisyah when the Prophet should be at least 13 years of age, instead of 9 years.

CONCLUSION: Al-Tabari narration about the life of Aisyah is inconsistent.


According to Rahman ibn abi-Abda'l zanna'd: "Asma 10 years older than Aisyah" (Siyar A `la'ma'l-nubala ', Al-Zahabi, Vol. 2, p. 289, Arabic, Mu' assasatu'l-treatise, Beirut, 1992).
According to Ibn Kathir: "Asma 10 years older than his sister (Ayesha)" (Al-Bidayah wa'l-Nihayah, Ibn Kathir, Vol. 8, p. 371, Dar al-Fikr al-`arabi, Al-jizah, 1933).

According to Ibn Kathir: "Asma see her murder by 73 H, and 5 days later Asma died. According to the history of others, he died 10 or 20 days later, or a few days more than 20 days, or 100 days later. The most powerful story is 100 days later. At the time of Asma Death, he was 100 years old "(Al-Bidayah wa'l-Nihayah, Ibn Kathir, Vol. 8, p. 372, Dar al-Fikr al-` arabi, Al-jizah, 1933)

According to Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani: "Asma live to be 100 years old and died at 73 or 74 H." (Taqribu'l-tehzib, Ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani, p. 654, Arabic, Bab fi'l-Nisa ', al -harfu'l-alif, Lucknow).
According to the settled some historians, Asma, the oldest sister Aisyah, unlike 10 years with Aisyah. If Asma died at the age of 100 years, ie on 73 H / 695M, 27-year-old should Asma when migrated to Madinah (622M).

If Asma was 27 years old when migrated to Madinah (622M), Aisyah is also supposed to be 17 years old when migration to Madinah, as they were 10 years apart in age. And follow the chronology above, the Aisyah started living together in 623-624M/2H Prophet proves Aisyah was 19 or 20 years old when the first live at home with the Prophet, rather than 9 years.

Based on Hajar, Ibn outrigger, and-Rahman ibn abi Abda'l zanna'd, proved age when he married Aisyh to the Prophet was 19 or 20 years.
But in the next 4 Ibn Hajar argument will menyanggahi's own reality.


According to Ibn Hajar, "Fatima was born when the Ka` bah woken beginning, when the Prophet was 35 years old. Fatimah 5 years older than Aisyah. "(Al-isabah fi tamyizi'l-Sahabah, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, Vol. 4, p. 377, Maktabatu'l-Riyadh al-Haditha, Al-Riyadh, 1978).

If reality is the fact Ibn Hajar, meaning Aisyah was born when the Prophet was 40 years old. When the Prophet married Aisyah at the age of Prophet 52, the age of Aisyah when she married is 12 years.

CONCLUSION: Ibn Hajar, al-Tabari, Ibn Hisham and Ibn Humbal contradict each other. Clearly history says Aisyah got married at the age of 9 years are not unfounded at all.


Historically, before she married the Prophet, Aisyah is a fiance of Adi ibn Jubair ibn Mut'im, an infidel. However, when seen from the chronology of historical origin as above, Aisyah known born in 614M, after the advent of Islam (610M). Therefore, where possible Aisyah was born on 614M after the advent of Islam, while the facts prove the most powerful at the time of ignorance Aisyah was engaged to Jubair.

If Aisyah ra was born before the advent of Islam, mean age he must have spoken for more than 6 years old when the Prophet and exceed 9 years while living with the Prophet. Moreover, since the time of ignorance Aisyah was engaged to Jubair, meaning Aisyah adult. Especially when she married the Prophet must be age Aisyah was really old enough.

CONCLUSION: Aisyah was 6 years old when not groom nor Prophet 9 years while living with the Prophet, Aisyah must have grown.


After Hijra to Madina, yet also took Aisyah to be his wife. This is what makes Abu Bakr hesitated, then Abu Bakr had asked the Prophet what the cause had not yet made the Prophet as his wife Aisyah, then the Prophet replied that he had no dowry to be given to Aisyah ra. Hear answers Prophet, Abu Bakr and then pay themselves mas kahwin for purposes which will be given to the Prophet Aisyah.

Most historians agree that Aisyah died when he was 67 years old. Even according to Hisham ibn Urwah, grandson to Asma, Aisyah death year is the 50H / 672M.

Khalifa ibn al-Khayyat al-Usfuri and Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal also declare the same era.

In other words, if all scholars agree he was 67 years old at the 50H/672M, meaning Aisyah, was born in 605M, and 622M Hijrah when she was 17 years old. This once again proves that Aisyah, was 19 years old when they got married and lived with the Prophet on 2H/624M, rather than at the age of 9 years, as has been described by scholars and orientalists.

CONCLUSION: Aisyah was 19 years old when they got married and lived with the Holy Prophet


According to the tradition, Aisyah was born in the eighth before the Hijrah. But according to another source in Bukhari, Aisyah record as saying this: "I am a young girl (jariyah in Arabic)" when Surah Al-Qamar revealed (Sahih Bukhari, Kitabu'l-interpretation, Chapter Qaulihi Bal al-sa `atu Maw iduhum `sa` atu wa'l-adha 'wa Amarr).

Sura 54 of the Koran to be revealed in the eighth before the Hijrah (bounteous Newspapers, MM Khatib, 1985), suggesting that the surah was revealed in 614 AD if Aisyah start housekeeping with the Prophet at the age of 9 years in 623/624M, meaning Aisyah was newborn (sibyah in Arabic) at the time Surah Al-Qamar was revealed.

Based on the story above, it is clear that Aisyah was a young girl, not a newborn when the revelation of Surah Al-Qamar was revealed. Jariyah means young girl still likes to play. That is, Aisyah, has become jariyah not sibyah (baby), so it has aged 6-13 years at the time of the Surah Al-Qamar, by his deep it is also certainly Aisyah, 14-21 years old when the Prophet married.

CONCLUSION: It is also contrary to the history of married Aisha at age 9 with the Prophet sw.


Hadits of Aisyah r.a:

"When I play with my toys, then there are my friends, and the Prophet came to me king, then they will be left out, but the Prophet came out to get my friend's friend and bring them back because the king happy with me playing along with them. Sometimes the king said, "Stay there, O Aisyah," and a friend of my friend before he left me, the king will participate in our game. "(Al-Bukhari and Muslim).

If Aisyah and his childhood friends are at that moment, rather unnatural if they stop playing when Rasullulah come. It kerana child does not know the meaning of shy or embarrassed when playing.

In fact, the Prophet known as a fun with the kids, even if there is a history that says the Prophet came out, the kids gathered around the king and the king took his hand to play with.

If Aisha and her friends were children at the time, they would like the presence of the Prophet, and instead of feeling embarrassed and shy. This means that when Aisyah was an adult or juvenile.

CONCLUSION: Aisyah was not a child when living with the Prophet

Between hadith relating to the Isra 'and Mi'raj one narrated by Aisyah. Isra 'Mi'raj took place in 619M. A history of the involvement of Aisyah participated in the battle of Badr Muslim narrated in the hadith, (Kitabu'l-jihad wa'l-siyar, Chapter karahiyati'l-isti `anah fi'l-ghazwi bikafir): Aisyah, when he told one of the important moments way during the battle of Badr, said: "when we reach Shajarah". In the battle of Uhud, Aisyah carries drinking water from Medina to the mountain of Uhud to be given to the fighters. Uhud occurred in 2H/625M.
Narrated by Bukhari (Kitabu'l-Maghazi, Chapter Ghazwati'l-Khandaq hiya'l wa-ahza'b): "Ibn` Umar said that the Messenger of Allah would not let him participate in the battle of Uhud, in the meantime, 14-year-old Umar Ibn . But when the war Khandaq, when he was 15 years old, the Prophet permitted Ibn Umar participated in the war. "
Based on the history above, (a) the boys under 15 years old will be deported and not allowed to participate in the war, and (b) Ayesha participated in the battle of Uhud and the full moon.

CONCLUSION: Aisyah participated in the battle of Badar and Uhud clearly shows that the 9-year-old he was not at the time, but certainly more than 15 years. It kerana boys accompany any war is justified only if it has been more than 15 years.


Aisyah known as a sage and proficient in several fields. Including poetry, medicine, genealogy (history) and science of al-Quran.

There is no doubt that science Aisyah in al-Quran is the result of her husband and best teacher education is the Messenger of Allah But there is no evidence to suggest that the Prophet taught medicine and poetry contributed to Aisyah. Nor is there evidence that there are other teachers who teach Aisyah Medina in this case.

Urwah ibn Zubair when praised his deep poetic verses, saying that her aunt, Aisyah is much more clever in making her poetry.

The most plausible reason that, Aisyah studied these sciences than his father, Abu Bakr who is also an expert in the field of genealogy (history) as well as poetry. It also proves that Aisyah was not possible to leave the house (married) age 9 years kerana if so he would not have time to learn all the knowledge of his father. But if worn excuse that Aisyah out of the house at age 19, it is enough time for him to learn.

We should all, especially the scholars and preachers today must convey to Muslims and other religions are correct chronological order and in accordance with the facts of history are Aisyah born in 605M, 620M groom Prophet in the year when he was 15, and married to the Prophet in 623-624M/2H when she was 19 years old and died in Aisyah 50H/672M at the age of 67.
